Fic: Laws of Motion

Summary: This is a prequel to Stumbling Along, but it could easily stand alone, I think. 
'A quick walk.'  It’s the last conscious decision Dean remembers making until nine hours and sixteen miles later, when he opens his eyes to a dark, star-riddled sky, and a cellphone full of frantic text messages from Sam.

Also: This scenario was partially inspired by the heartbreaking novel The Unnamed, by Joshua Ferris.

A/N: Yeah, so I had all this backstory in my head and wanted to get it out, so voila.  Redundant?  Probably.  But it was fun to write, and I've been craving some fun-to-write stuff lately.  I am tagging this 'verse "walk," for obvious reasons, and also as a sort of in-joke with myself.  Kudos to anyone who gets why it's kind of funny...?  Next installment will be far more Cas-heavy, now I've got this crap outta the way.
